      Thanks for being patient with us through the past few months.   We cancelled
the evening meeting for September in favor of supporting the TAB/SBE Regional
Meeting in San Antonio.   Chapter 105 was privileged to be the host chapter for this
meeting when the San Antonio chapter couldn't support it.   Some of us weren't able
to attend this year,  having already been to the NAB Radio Show at the beginning of
the month.   Bob Stoupe and Bob Chase arranged a good program, though; featuring presentations by Lucent and USADR on IBOC digital radio.   Stroupe reports good
attendance by members from several Texas chapters.
      This month is packed with interesting meetings and activities, as well.  
Besides our regular lunch meeting on October 12th, we also have a special meeting
with the Reliant Energy (HL&P) folks on October 28th.   This meeting promises to be
a good meeting where you can get all your HVAC questions answered by light company engineers.   Come prepared to learn much about installation, site planning and service standards.   We have also been invited to a special meeting at the Johnson Space Center, October 23; sponsored by Carl Amend and NVision Corp.   The meeting runs from
10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and promises to be an interesting meeting for TV and radio
folks alike.   Danney previously sent out an e-mail on this last month, which contains the schedlue and content of this unique seminar.
