This one submitted by Albert Vargas . . .     "UTOPIA"

There was a time when there was no Broadcast Engineers anymore.
Technology had advanced to the point that they were not needed anymore.
When there was a technical problem, the equipment (controlled by computerized
commands) was repaired, and even installed by itself !

If there was a power failure, the automatism sent a signal to the central electric
supply and it established the required feed to the troubled site.

The PA was infinitely autosufficient that it never needed components replacement.

Whenever it sensed a weak element, automatically, this element was replaced by a
redundant circuit which, in it's case, lasted for a long time, and so on . . .

Cabling was not necessary anymore, because of the use of optical conductors,
that never had interruptions because they could "see" through any physical
    material.

Interference did not exist, because by means of a universal discriminator installed
on every receiver, they only relayed what the user wanted... by voice commands.
Equalization was instantaneously adjusted from the Artistic Director's Office, and the
transmitted power was raised or lowered anytime by the General Manager.
There was no pattern problems, these were set to the stations' requirement . . .
by Sales People, that in this way, they were able to have customers anywhere, anytime.

   . . . so you see,
THERE WAS A TIME WHEN THERE WAS NO BROADCAST ENGINEERS ANYMORE . . .
